A prelude to statistics arising from optimal transport theory

Purpose This paper aims to offer a tutorial/introduction new statistics arising from the theory of optimal transport empirical researchers in econometrics and machine learning. Design/methodology/approach Presenting tutorial/survey lecture style help practitioners with theoretical material. Findings The tutorial survey some main statistical tools (arising theory) should understand background order conduct research meaningfully. Originality/value study is an original presentation useful for comers field.
